What size are your castles and how much room do I need?
The medium ‘Jump’ castles are;
Length: 4m
Width: 4.5m
Height: 4m
Set Up Area required: 5m x 5.5m
The Large 'Jump' castles are;
Length: 5m
Width: 5m
Height: 5m
Set Up Area required: 6m x 6m
The Club Combo castles are;
Length: 5.5m
Width: 6m
Height: 5m
Set Up Area required: 7m x 7.5m
How much room do you need to get the castle to the area it is to be set up in?
Approx 1.2 metres for most inflatable’s. Please ensure that water heaters or Air conditioning units are not blocking the access.
If there are STEPS you must inform us prior to the day as additional charges may apply if we need extra staff to deliver.
If we are not informed, we reserve the right to refuse delivery in order to comply with our OH&S policy

What surface can castle go on?
The jumping castle can go on grass, dirt, concrete, paving or asphalt as long as the area is flat. Please let us know if the castle will be set up on a hard surface that does not allow for pegs to be used (i.e.concrete, paving).
Can we have our castle set up in a park?
Castles can be set up in park and other public places. You may require a permit from the council. Jumpin' Joey's reserves the right to pass on any additional charges due to set up on public property.
Can we have our castle indoors?
Yes. Castles can be set up indoors as long as there is sufficient access and space (particularly height).
Can the inflatable be erected on a slope?
Yes as long as the slope is not too severe.
How does the inflatable stay blown up?
The inflatable is not a sealed unit. It is therefore continually filled with air which comes from an electric blower. The blower is connected to your power supply by a sealed, heavy duty extension cord supplied by us. The extension cord also has a safety switch connected to it.
Can we hire a castle at night?
Yes. However, after 8pm additional charges apply for late pickup.
Is the set up time included in our hire time?
No. Set up time is not included in your hire. For example if you were hiring between 12:00 and 4:00 we would arrive at 11:40 at the latest to set up. A 4 hour hire guarantees you 4 hours of jumping time.
What if it rains?
All out castles come with a permanent cover to protect the user from both sun and rain, this means you can keep having fun!
In the event of strong winds or rain, Just Jumping Castles reserve the right to cancel the booking if we feel safety will be compromised. In this case we will contact you promptly to discuss the matter.
What if we have to cancel due to bad weather?
There is no cancellation fee. If the weather is deemed unsafe to continue your booking we reserve the right to cancel any booking.”
I’ve seen castles like “Small Mermaid” or “Captain Spack Jarrow”. Are your castles really “Disney”?
Yes. All our castles have familiar licensed characters. (i.e. Disney, Pixar....). The Characters on the castle WILL be the ones known by your children.

Does Jumpin’ Joey's have Public Liability Insurance?
Yes Jumpin’ Joey's have Public Liability to $10,000,000.
Dose someone need to supervise the castle?
Yes. For the safety of the children who will use the jumping castle. A responsible adult over 18 years of age must supervise the jumping castle at all times. There will be training given in the operating instructions for the jumping castle on the day of the hire.
When will Jumpin’ Joeys need to supply a supervisor?
If the children are 14yrs and over.
If the castle is set up for commercial purposes.
If there is public access to the castle (for example a park).
Can the inflatable be in contact with walls or trees?
No the inflatable can suffer abrasion damage if it is in direct
contact with branches or walls. When we deliver the inflatable we will place it so as to avoid contact with these damaging surfaces.
What if we damage the castle?
If the damage is considered by us to be malicious then you will be liable to pay for all repairs and transport costs associated with having the inflatable repaired. If adults use a jumping castle that is not an adult castle, and it is damaged, then the above will also apply.
What else should I be aware of?
Please keep streamers, poppers, silly string etc away from any inflatable as they stain the vinyl !!
Any streamer etc damage found on the inflatable at time of pick up or when we clean the inflatable over the following seven (7) days will result in an automatic charge of $500.
No food or sticky substances are allowed on the castles.
